Tony Price, aged 53, joined the board in February 2008. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and is a Chartered Engineer, holds a Master of Science degree (Portsmouth) and researched a PhD in Safety System Design.
Tony served as an Officer and Captain in the Merchant Navy before embarking on a 22 year career in the Oil and Gas Industry, working in senior management positions for BP and BG Exploration and Production in the Middle/ Far East and USA. He joined the Nuclear Industry in 2001 and held a number of senior positions with British Nuclear Fuels including as Director of Decommissioning and Major Projects on the Sellafield Ltd board.
