Ian Butcher, aged 56, joined the board in December 2007.  He is a Chartered Accountant and spent 11 years as Group Finance Director of The Go-Ahead Group plc, the FTSE-250 passenger transport services group.  He graduated from Hull University in 1972 with an Honours degree in Economics and has held senior director roles in both the transport and manufacturing industries. Ian was recognised as Overall UK FD of the Year as well as FTSE 250 FD of the Year in the CBI FD’s Excellence Awards 2006  
Ian is Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee.
