Safety, Health, Environment & Quality

Redhall’s first core value is “To provide a safe environment for our people and our visitors by promoting an injury and accident free culture”. We are focused on maintaining a first-class safety culture and we take a structured, risk-based approach to health and safety across all our businesses. We have a well-established Group-wide framework for managing, tracking and auditing health and safety as well as environmental and quality performance across our operations. Our Group-wide strategy aligns to our four principles of effective safety management:

  • Leadership
  • Planning
  • Governance
  • Continuous Improvement

We operate to a corporate strategy and policies which outline our minimum expectations of all of our businesses. These are supported by a number of guidance documents on issues common to many operating companies.

Each operating business has its own formal management system, which identifies, eliminates or mitigates the hazards relevant to its operations. As well as meeting corporate requirements, all of our subsidiaries have accredited management systems to control health and safety risks to OHSAS 18001, environmental management systems certified to BS EN ISO 14001 and quality management systems accredited to BS EN ISO 9001. These are the internationally recognised standard for management systems.

We continually strive to be recognised for outstanding health and safety performance across our entire client base.
