The first of the four is Mark Corry, who has been appointed Operations Director within Booth Industries, which is based in Bolton. Mark’s background in manufacturing operations has included senior roles within the aerospace, orthopaedic, oil, gas and general engineering markets. Prior to joining Redhall, Mark was Operations Director at the Special Steels Group.
Also appointed is Anthony Jones, who assumes the role of Managing Director at Newcastle upon Tyne-based, R. Blackett Charlton. Anthony is a fully qualified quantity surveyor with over 24 years’ experience, in both the construction and manufacturing sectors. He has held senior managerial and directorial roles for many of Europe’s leading engineering companies, undertaking major projects in the UK, Norway and the Middle East. Recent roles include Commercial and Business Development Manager for Commodore Steel Industries LLC in Abu Dhabi and Managing Director at Royden Structures Ltd.
Redhall Manufacturing has also recruited a new Continuous Improvement Manager – Phil Turner. Phil, who will be based at Redhall’s Redditch office, has over 25 years’ manufacturing industry experience, having managed works engineering, manufacturing and engineering functions at companies including Yale, Chubb, Union and SGB Manufacturing.
Over the past seven years, he has focused almost exclusively on continuous improvement and is currently completing his Black Belt Six Sigma qualification – a high level continuous improvement methodology. Phil was previously employed as part of a global team responsible for delivering a $1 million bottom line savings and prior to joining Redhall, was Continuous Improvement Group Leader at Harsco Infrastructure.
The fourth appointment is Stuart McDonald, who has been recruited in to the role of Commercial Director for Redhall Manufacturing. Based at Redhall’s Redditch office, he will provide commercial and legal support to all of the Redhall Manufacturing businesses. Stuart is a chartered arbitrator, adjudicator and is a member of the International Bar. He has over 10 years’ project and commercial management experience, reviewing and administering contracts valued at over £1.8 billion, both in the UK and overseas.
Prior to joining Redhall, Stuart was UK Commercial Manager at Harsco Infrastructure.
