All companies within the UK will soon be subject to a new regulation around data protection, this regulation is called the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR. This includes the Redhall Group PLC companies – Booths Industries, Jordan Manufacturing Limited, Redhall Jex, Redhall Networks.
The GDPR regulation comes into effect on May 25th 2018. We fully comply with this regulation and will continue to do so .
For the most part we are not a business that collects the type of information that GDPR is concerned with as we do not collect or share information online, but we do store information about clients on our own network in order to conduct our business and fulfil our obligations to you.
The types of information we hold on our clients:
- Contact details: Names, addresses and meeting notes are held on a secure CRM system
- We also hold information about tenders we have made and these are kept in a secure folder
- Banking details for our clients are held on our secure accounting systems of Sage and Coins
We believe we have a legitimate interest in holding your contact information as defined in the GDPR legislation – click here for more information
Security: During 2017 we obtained out cyber essentials accreditation and have tightened up our cyber security to a great extent so you can be confident that the data we hold on you is secure.
